How to get to the city center

The only public transport option from the airport to the city is the bus. There is no train connection to the airport.

By bus, you can reach the train station and the city center. You need the Ali bus company bus № 475. Route: Fontanarossa Airport, Asse dei servizi, Faro Biscari, Tempio, Colombo, Borsellino square, Vittorio Emanuele, Duomo, Etnea, Stesicoro, Sicilia, Martiri Libertà, Catania Railway Station.
- Where to find: The bus stop is located in front of Terminal V.
- Travel time: 20 minutes.
- Where to buy tickets: At the ticket office at the stop.
- Operating hours: From 05:00 to 00:00, buses run every 20 minutes in summer and every 25 minutes in winter.
- Fare: 4 EUR. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes.
Transfer
A convenient way to reach the city. You will know the cost of the trip in advance, and the driver will be waiting for you at the airport with a name sign. You can book a transfer on the KiwiTaxi website.
