The legendary dishes of Italian cuisine can now be enjoyed in almost every restaurant in the city: pizza, pasta, risotto - these no longer surprise a true foodie. Once in the resort, tourists have compiled a list of tastes to try in Gaeta. The Olive di Gaeta is a good place to start, as is the white pizza (Pizza bianca). Don't forget the Spagnoletta tomatoes, Puntarella chicory salad, Alici salate anchovies. And to complete the gastronomic symphony, Salsiccia al vino bianco e coriandolo, which means Salsiccia cooked in white wine with coriander, or simply a special kind of Italian sausage.
