Tourists arriving at the resort are faced with the question: which is the best beach to choose in Positano? The most famous is the Great Beach of Positano or La Spiaggia Grande. The recreational area, about 300 metres long, includes both free areas for relaxation and a paid beach. There you'll have to pay about 12 EUR for the service, but in return you can use the sun loungers, sun loungers and umbrellas. When visiting the free zone, don't forget to bring a towel or your own sun lounger.
Fornillo, or La Spiaggiadi Fornillo, is a more secluded beach. It can be reached by following the path from Positano's Great Beach and is where travellers like to go scuba diving and snorkelling.
