However, this comfort comes at a price: although access to the city’s beaches is free, sunbathing on your own towel is only allowed within the first 5 meters from the shoreline, and those spots are often occupied. To stay in any other part of the beach, you’ll need to pay at least for a sunbed rental (around 8 EUR), but you’ll be able to use other facilities for free.

These are the municipal beaches that are not rented out to businesses, such as at Beach 1 (near the port) or the stretch of beach between beaches 106-107 in the Rivazzurra area.
