In summer, the water temperature in the Adriatic Sea ranges between +19–22°C, and the water warms up quickly from the early morning due to the shallow nature of the coastline in this area. Swimming is usually possible until the end of September, as the sea temperature stays around +19°C during that month. However, in May and October, only the most cold-resistant tourists dare to swim, since the water rarely gets warmer than +14°C.
The most comfortable period for a beach holiday is from mid-June to early September, when the water temperature exceeds +21°C and daytime air temperatures remain steadily between +27–30°C. During this season, most beaches in Rimini are equipped with showers, sunbeds, umbrellas, and rental points, making relaxation especially comfortable and enjoyable.
