Rimini’s public transport is well developed: bus and trolleybus routes connect the city center not only with all districts to the north and south but also with many neighboring towns. Scheduled buses also run to the airport and the main amusement parks. All routes intersect at the railway station, where you can transfer to any bus line. Please note that daytime buses run only until 2:00 AM, but during the peak tourist season, several night routes are available.
Fare
Transport prices in Rimini are in line with the general European level: a single ticket costs 1.50 EUR. Tourists are advised to buy tickets in tobacco shops or ticket machines, as buying from the driver costs almost twice as much (around 2.50 EUR).
Routes
Stops are on request only: wave to the approaching bus or press the button on the handrail if you're already on board.
Upon boarding, you must validate your ticket — there are special machines inside the vehicle. Otherwise, you may face a fine for traveling without a valid ticket, which is around 70 EUR.
