Water Temperature in Tropea
The tourist season can be comfortably opened in late April to early May. It is during this time that the water in the sea warms up above +19°C, allowing for plenty of splashing under the gentle sun.
In summer, the water temperature in the Tyrrhenian Sea rises first to +22°C in June and then to over +25°C in July and August. Similar temperatures are maintained in September and October, ranging from +25°C to +23°C.
Towards winter, the water temperature in the Tyrrhenian Sea decreases more significantly, dropping to +17°C to +14°C. However, from mid-spring onwards, the water thermometer starts showing temperatures of +17°C to +19°C, heralding the return of sunny summer days!
