When using public transport in Viareggio, keep in mind that bus tickets must be purchased in advance — either at kiosks located at bus stops or in tobacco shops marked with a “T” sign (fare: approximately €1.20 per ride; if bought directly from the driver — up to €2.50). Passengers board the bus through the rear door and exit through the middle. Remember to validate your ticket once inside.
