Bus
To get from Sharjah Airport to the city center, you can take a bus. All necessary information (timetable, map) can be found here.
Ticket price: 8.00 AED. You can buy a ticket at the airport terminal or from the driver.
Transit every 10-30 minutes (depending on the time of day).
There are 3 routes:
#14 from the airport station goes to Al Sharq bus stop. It runs from 5:50 to 23:14.
#15 from the airport goes to Rolla bus station, passing the university campus. Runs: 5:45 a.m. to 11:05 p.m.
#99 from the airport goes to Jubail bus stop, stopping at Rolla station. It runs around the clock.
Transfer
Transfers can be booked online at kiwitaxi.co.uk. The driver will meet you with a name plate.
Car Rental
A car can be rented at the airport gate or in advance on a website (e.g. rentalcars.com).
Taxi
Taxis can be ordered from the information desk at the airport exit, or you can pick one up in the parking lot.
How to get to the bus station
There is no rail service in Sharjah.
The bus station (address is Al Arouba St, near Al Jubail Souk Market) can be reached by cab or rental car via the E88 highway.
How to get to Dubai
From Sharjah to Dubai, the distance is 24 kilometers.
Bus
Air Arabia customers can take a direct bus service between Sharjah Airport and Dubai.
Route. Transportation will take you to Al Ghurair Shopping Mall, which is near the Union Square Metro.
Fare - 20 AED.
Work schedule. The bus departs from the airport at 8:00, 12:30, 16:30 and 22:30.
