Bus Tours
Book a bus trip to the Vranjače Caves (10 km from Split), admire the high halls with stalactites and stalagmites of bizarre shapes. And don't forget to bring a jacket: temperatures in the caves are no higher than +10-15°C.
If you like mountain routes, ask your guide about a possible excursion to Biokovo from Split. It is a natural park 80 km from the city, located on one of the most beautiful Dalmatian mountains by the sea. The highest point of the massif is reached by an asphalt road over 20 km long. From the top of Biokovo you can even see the Italian part of the Adriatic, and in general you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains and the sea. There is also the Kotišina Botanical Garden, which is home to rare animals and birds. The entrance fee to the Biokovo Park is 40 HRK.
If you are offered the Split Krka excursion (the cost of a minibus ride is about 250 HRK, entrance fee 30-150 HRK depending on the season), you should definitely take it. Here you will find the magnificent cascade of waterfalls Skradinski beech, a picturesque lake, the island of Visovec with a 15th century church, medieval fortresses and incredible natural beauty, among which you can truly relax your soul.
