Valencia is famous first of all for its beaches. There are both in the city itself (for example, Arenasand Malvarrosa) and outside it. Almost all beaches are awarded with blue flags for cleanliness, so you can safely rest and swim here, even with small children.
Another pride of Valencia is the "City of Arts and Science". This is a huge complex, on the territory of which there is an opera house, planetarium, oceanarium, science museum, IMAX movie theater. It was opened in 1998.
To take beautiful photos of Valencia, climb to the observation deck of the Torredel Miguelete Tower.
If you visit Valencia in early March, you will be a guest of the traditional Fire Festival "Fallas", which includes musical concerts and pyrotechnic shows, as well as the eating of thousands of bunuelos (chocolate doughnuts).
Gourmets should try the paella, as Valencia is considered the birthplace of this famous Spanish dish! In summer, be sure to try a cool drink "horchata", made from tiger nut. It is served with farton biscuit. Another interesting drink locals call "Valencia water" is a mixture of wine and orange juice.
