If you don't want to get lost in the winding streets of Beidaihe, which gradually grows into Qinhuangdao, you'll need a map, and it's better to have one with all the sights. Ecotourism is developed in this area because about 70% of the territory is covered with forest. In the summertime, festivals are held on the coast of Beidaihe.
