The most colorful amusement park in Heraklion is Labyrinth (about 4 kilometers from the town of Hersonissos). Here you can not only practice finding your way out of a real maze (some sections are connected by suspension bridges!), but also play miniature golf, ride quad bikes, take horseback riding lessons, or play with ponies and ferrets at the mini-farm.
Another popular activity for adults and children in Heraklion is horseback riding Finikia, available even in winter, and the huge Minoan Athletic Camp Cycling Center.
Well, you can end a busy day at one of Heraklion's nightclubs or bars, such as Jailhouse or Guerniva. Better still, check out Heraklion's beach nightlife - the most raucous parties take place on the beaches, in any local club (Agia Pelagia is particularly notable).
