Kos is a wonderfully compact island where you can reach any point from the capital in just about an hour and a half. Our suggestion is to explore beyond a single city, as each beach offers its unique attractions.
Kos town itself hosts a dedicated diving center and the Anemos Club. The latter provides exciting activities such as catamaran trips, windsurfing, parasailing, tubing, and boat excursions. The club operates in two locations: Akti Zouroudi beach (only 100 meters from the port) and the Psalidi area (Oceanis Hotel beach).
At Papa's Beach, just north of the town harbor, you can enjoy rides on inflatable towed cylinders, "bananas," or even try parasailing in Kos.
Near Psalidi Beach, in the suburb of Kos, you'll find one of the island's three surfing spots, perfect for beginners due to its calm waters. Another great place for surfing on Kos is the Lambi beaches. Kefalos and Marmari also have designated areas for kiting.
In the village of Kefalos, the Baywatch club offers water sports lessons for children covering a wide range of activities. Additionally, there's the GUST! Windsurfing School located in Kardamena for those interested in windsurfing on Kos.
