The weather in Mikonas is hardly capricious, but rather docile and always smiling. If the 14-day forecast promises sunny weather and a tempting tan, it's likely to be so.
Mild and dry is the hallmark of Mykonos' weather, so in 3, 5 days or a week you can get a nice tan and bask in the Mediterranean sunshine.
Beauty and wildlife of Mykonos
Mykonos is a treasure trove of dry-loving and evergreen shrubs and flowers. There are about 1,600 species on the island, and 200 of them can only be seen here. True, not all of the island is teeming with vegetation - much of it is rather deserted or there are giant cacti growing there. However, the areas with vineyards, citrus and olive plantations, palm groves and pine forests, as well as sage, oregano, daisies, poppies, chrysanthemums, violets and sea lilies are breathtakingly beautiful. The animal world of Mykonos is no less diverse. The island is home to jackals, foxes, wild forest cats, stone goats, lizards, turtles and snakes. The latter are particularly active in summer, so be careful.
