Water temperature in Tossa de Mar
The highest water temperatures in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Tossa de Mar are usually in July-September. During this period, the thermometer averages 23°C.
In July, water temperatures in the Mediterranean Sea warm up from 21.6°C at the beginning of the month to 24.5°C by the end. It continues to rise in August, reaching a high of almost 25°C by mid-month. By the end of August, the sea begins to gradually cool down and by September it returns to around 24°C.
At the end of September, the temperature of the Mediterranean Sea on the beaches of Tossa de Mar drops to 21.5°C. But this doesn't deter some visitors and they continue to swim until October.
