If you are planning a family holiday with children in Sanremo, check out Lungomare Delle Nazioni and Corso Trento e Trieste for playgrounds and amusement rides, as well as plenty of summer cafés. All beaches in Sanremo are not too bad for children as the sea is shallow and calm.
There are no amusement parks in Sanremo. If you have your own car, you can drive from Sanremo to the children's and adults' entertainment centre Bagni Nuovo Lido, where you can take scuba diving lessons and learn to waterski.
The best hotels in Sanremo for holidays with children are the Castellaro Golf Resort (ideal for families with small children: the large hotel complex is equipped with several playgrounds, lots of green lawns, a swimming pool and a special menu) and the Villaggio dei Fiori (an entire playground with pools and trampolines for toddlers).
In addition, many of the restaurants in Sanremo are child-friendly. For example, the Watermark Restaurant in the Silverwater Resort, the Porter Republic (which has a special gluten-free menu) and the restaurant in the Westernport Hotel are 'kid-friendly'. The highest prices for holidays with children in Sanremo are from late May to October. We recommend June: It's not yet too hot, but the sea is already very warm.
