The most beautiful photos of Sanremo are from above, capturing the Bay of Liguria and the colourful rooftops of the city. Head to the very top of the Old Town (while taking photos of the old streets of Sanremo!), to the cathedral of Santuario di Nostra Signora della Costa. There's a beautiful observation deck around the temple, so you can take great photos of Sanremo against the Mediterranean sea.
At night, Sanremo is best photographed from the sea, such as from a yacht, capturing the thousands of lights of the hotels and restaurants along the coastline. The bustling Via Giacomo Matteotti is another popular location for taking photos of Sanremo at night.
