Walking in Sanremo

To diversify your holiday and get to know the city better, take a sightseeing tour of Sanremo.

If you don't want to go far from Sanremo, we suggest visiting the nearby Argentine Valley (also called the Silver Valley because of the hue of the olive leaves), the dilapidated medieval village of Bussana Vecchia or the town of Triora (a spooky place - during the Inquisition almost 90% of the population was burned here for accusations of witchcraft). You can hire a Russian guide, but then the cost of such a walk from Sanremo will be 100-150 EUR for a group of 1-4 people.

There is one highlight of Sanremo which is definitely worth visiting. It is a bicycle lane. Before 2001, a single-track railway ran along the sea; in 2008, it was replaced by a cycle path, which is now 24km long, from San Remo to San Lorenzo Al Mare. There are surveillance cameras, special SOS telephones, benches and seating areas, drinking water fountains. There are several tunnels. Bicycles can be rented on the promenade in Sanremo.
