Due to the scattered nature of the ski resorts, there is a challenge in transporting tourists to them. In Zakopane, the central transportation hub is located at the railway square. Here you will find the train station, bus station, parking for minibusses, and a stop for private intercity buses.
There are several lines of city buses operating in the resort. Buses run on a fixed schedule, unlike minibusses, which depart based on passenger demand.
Tickets can be purchased from the driver, and the price depends on the distance traveled.
Local Transport
The most convenient form of local transport is minibusses. The ticket prices are relatively low, ranging from 2 to 5 PLN, and the routes are not very long.
Taxi services are also available in Zakopane. It is recommended to order a taxi by phone, as it can help you save on transportation costs.
