Parks
Bois Bois des Aulnes (opened in 1976, area - 3600 sqm), Victory Garden (opened in 1928, area - 4500 sqm, there are bandstands and carousels), Parc des Dryades (operating since 1923, area - 25 000 square meters, 300 species of trees and more than 20 000 plants), Tropicarium Bonsaï (the pride of the park - tropical plants: bamboo, sugar cane, water hyacinth, palms, cacti, lianas). Tickets cost between 6 and 9 EUR.
Aeromuseum
(Aeronautical Museum of Presqu'île Côte d'Amour). Here you can learn about the history of airplane construction. Entrance is free.
Museum of Saltworks in Ba-Sur-Mer
(5km west of La Baule). Employees of the museum will tell you about the history of the saltworks and the uses of Guérande salts. In summer there is animation for children - they can participate in the work of the saltworks. Tickets cost 4 EUR.
Park of prehistoric animals
(Malansac, 2 km from the medieval village of Rochefort-en-Ter). Open from April to October. The museum presents 30 scenes from the life of prehistoric animals that lived in the territory of modern Europe about 250 million years ago. Tickets cost 10 EUR.
Park of Legends
(La Poitevinière, 44320 FROSSAY). Opened in December. On the territory of the park there is a village of French Santa Claus Per Noel, a hut of Merlin the wizard, a magical forest of fairies. Tickets cost 7 EUR.
Oceanarium
(avenu de Saint-Goustan, Le Croisic). The huge aquarium dedicated to the three oceans is home to more than 2000 fish, corals, plants and sea turtles. Children from 6 to 12 years old can take part in the program "Young Adventurers". Tickets cost 12 EUR.
