When is the best time to go to La Baule?
The "high season" in La Baule starts in mid-June, when the water and air warm up enough to allow swimming. However, the most dedicated fans of water activities "occupy" the beaches of the resort from the end of May, when the water temperature is +17-19°C. But experienced tourists still prefer to wait until mid-June. The average air temperature at this time is +22°C and the water temperature is +19-20°C.
July and August are considered leaders in terms of the number of sunny days - +28-29°C, but even at this time you won't have to shiver from the heat, as fresh breezes constantly blow from the ocean. The biggest influx of tourists to La Baule is in July and August.
If you are a follower of a quiet and peaceful vacation, plan your trip for the off-season, preferably in October. During this period, the thermometer rarely rises above +15-18°C, but the water remains warm enough for swimming. But from November to April you will have to forget about beach vacations - the water is too cold even for short swims (+8-10°C).
