Le Chantecler (Promenade des Anglais, 37). This one of Nice's best two-Michelin-starred restaurants is located in the Hotel Negresco building. Appetizers from 45 EUR, meat and seafood from 65 EUR, desserts from 25 EUR.
Cafe de Turin (place Garibaldi, 5). This establishment, a five-minute walk from the bus station, is considered one of the best seafood cafes in Nice. Snails, shrimps, oysters can be ordered in portions and piece by piece (8-40 EUR).
Le Safari (Cours Saleya, 1). This place next to the flower market is popular with locals, so come early for lunch and book a table for dinner. In Le Safari you can taste calamari with artichokes, wood-fired pizza. The maximum price of a dish at this Nice restaurant is 35 EUR, and wines are much more expensive.
Acchiardo (rue Droite, 38). One of the oldest restaurants in Nice, operating since 1927. We recommend trying the spaghetti and duck pâté with olives. Prices range from 12 to 25 EUR per dish.
Chez Pipo (rue Bavastro, 13) or Socca d’Or (rue Bonaparte, 45). These places serve Nice’s traditional dish — socca — sweet or savory chickpea flour pancakes cooked in olive oil, priced at 3–6 EUR per serving.
Flunch is a great option if you don’t want to spend 30–50 EUR on each meal but also don’t want to eat fast food. The price of dishes in this affordable Nice eatery depends on the portion size. If you order a hot dish, the side dish is free. On average, expect to spend around 10–15 EUR per person.
Casa Nissa (rue Gioffredo, 55). This Nice restaurant is open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight. It serves delicious tapas and pizza. Dinner here turns into a true show, with karaoke available. The minimum bill for a light dinner or snack starts at around 12–15 EUR.
Breakfast in the "heart" of Provence is mainly croissant with coffee. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 15:00, dinner — from 19:00 to 22:00. At other times, Nice restaurants may be closed. "Gratitude for service" is usually included in the bill.
