Full-fledged bathing season begins closer to mid-June, when the water temperature in Nice reaches +21°C. In July-September the water is warm - +24-25°C. Comfortable for bathing water temperature in Nice remains until mid-October.
Tides in the Mediterranean Sea are insignificant, but waves in the Bay of Angels can sometimes suddenly cover part of the beach. However, this happens infrequently and very rarely in summer.
