Cultural entertainment
Who said culture is boring? In Batumi, you can enjoy museums, theaters, or visit the Music and Art Center. Or perhaps you're missing the winter season? Then head to the Ice Palace, where hockey matches and figure skating competitions take place. Rest assured, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Cinema and theater
The city boasts four theaters: Puppet Theater, Opera Theater, Drama Theater, and Summer Theater. Each has its unique charm.
- Opera Theater
The Opera Theater (Music and Art Center) has been welcoming visitors since 2017. They stage performances and host concerts by music and dance ensembles. The Opera Theater is incredibly beautiful, with fountains in front that complement the beauty of the Music and Art Center. By the way, the Opera Theater is recognized as one of the five most unusual theaters.

- Drama Theater
Here, you can not only enjoy the spiritual beauty of the plays staged here but also admire the architectural beauty of the building. It often attracts foreign guests with its performances. Keep in mind that the plays here are performed in Georgian.

- Summer Theater
This is the new wooden successor to the previous theater, which burned down in 2001. Come here in the evening and enjoy the beautiful nighttime illumination. Take a moment to step inside and admire the charming interior.

- Apollo Cinema
It's a small cinema with one hall, but it's cozy, and there are no issues with finding a seat. Films are mostly shown in Russian.

There are 10 museums in Batumi. We’ll highlight the most visited ones. Knowing Georgian will be helpful when visiting museums — most tours are conducted in this language.
- Archaeological Museum
Visit here to learn the history of the Adjara region.

The first and so far only private museum. Located near Batumi. It features models of traditional Adjara buildings.

Wonderland park
Here you can see the Ferris wheel, the Georgian alphabet tower, and the chacha tower.

You can not only take great photos here but also enjoy the beauty of Batumi from above.

- Alphabet Tower
This metal structure is beautifully illuminated in the evenings. The tower's height is 130 meters. At the top of this marvel, you can reserve a table in the restaurant. To go up, you need to make a restaurant reservation or pay 12 GEL.
- Chacha Tower
Previously, alcoholic drinks were occasionally poured from the nearby fountains, which made this tower very popular. However, the tower itself is worth seeing. In the evenings, it becomes magically beautiful as it is illuminated in different colors.
Argo cable car
Get a bird's-eye view of Batumi. For those who are afraid of heights, the cable car is newly constructed and has glass cabins for six people. In just 10 minutes, you will be at Feria Hill. The views are breathtaking. Make sure not to lose your boarding ticket as you will need it for the entire journey!

Where to go in the evening: night entertainment
- Singing Fountains
There are two singing fountains in Batumi – one near Ardagan Lake and the other not far from the Registry Office. We recommend visiting them as they are magically beautiful. The "singing" starts at 9:00 PM.
- Piazza Square
It's like a little Italy in Georgia. Visit one of the many restaurants here and feel like you're in Italy. Listen to street musicians playing in the evening, and watch the clock tower where dolls come out.
- Casinos
If you're a gambling person, you can test your luck at the numerous casinos in Batumi. Gambling is allowed and legal here.
- Nightclubs and Bars
Dance and have a great time until morning. The nightlife venues are located near the waterfront. Among them, we can highlight Kwai Woman, Rendezvous, Soho Lounge, Cloud 9, and EDERELI Bar. There, you can enjoy drinks, listen to lively musicians, and dance.
Sea аctivities
Batumi is a seaside city, and of course, it offers a wide range of sea activities. You can enjoy yacht, boat, or ship rides, and thrill-seekers can try hang gliding, parachuting, flyboarding, diving, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. For all of these, head to the central beach.

Amusement park – near Batumi is the "Tsitsinatela" park. Your children will enjoy the Ferris wheel, carousel, and ride-on cars. Giant dinosaurs placed throughout the park make it extra fun.

- Botanical Garden
here you can admire plants from all over the world. The 113 hectares of garden are impressive, and the cleanest beaches of Green Cape are just nearby.

- Mountain Adjara Tour
it's best to go with a guide. On this trip, you'll see the statue of Andrew the First-Called, a waterfall, Gonio Fortress, Queen Tamar’s Bridge, and the Makhuntseti Waterfall.

- Holy Trinity Church
you'll have to climb Mt. Sameba to see it. But the view of Batumi from there is breathtaking.

- Mtirala National Park
combine a thrilling zipline descent with breathtaking views of Adjara.

- Magnetiti Beaches
the black sand is believed to be healing for cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health. The beaches are in Ureki village, about 1.5 hours away.
