The Chacha Tower was constructed in 2012 and was modeled after a structure that adorned the city a hundred years ago. The tallest tower reaches a height of 25 meters, and there are smaller towers on each of its four sides. At a height of 18 meters, there is a chronometer, which is why the tower is sometimes referred to as the "clock tower."
Until recently, visitors were allowed inside the tower to ascend to the observation deck and enjoy the view of the seaside boulevard from above. However, at present, the entrance area is adorned with iron fences. The building is in need of urgent repair as the whitewash is peeling off, disfiguring the facade. There are four pools located on the sides of the tower, but unfortunately, they are currently not operational.
It is said that on one day of the week, the fountain transforms into a free bar. For ten to fifteen minutes, the local alcoholic beverage, chacha, flows from the fountain. The taste of the beverage varies each time as it is presented by a different company. This generous attraction does not operate on a fixed schedule to prevent enthusiasts from forming queues.
