Informational Overview
The height of the waterfall from the top to the massive stone basin is 30 meters. It is rightfully considered the tallest in the area. The waterfall is beautiful in different seasons: in spring, it impresses with the power of its water jets cascading down with a thunderous roar, while in summer, it flows calmly, providing cool moisture.
During hot weather, travelers can test their endurance and plunge into the icy waters of the waterfall. There is a belief that the water not only refreshes the overheated tourist but also rejuvenates their soul and body.
Food
During summer, the place is crowded with visitors. Therefore, local sweets are also in high demand. You can purchase traditional churckhela, honey, fruit leather, or jam from local vendors. The prices are the same as in Batumi. For hungry tourists, there is a café nearby offering national cuisine.
Getting to the Waterfall
Bus
Getting to the waterfall is quite easy as it is located near Batumi in a convenient location.
You need to come to the bus station and take bus number 77.
The bus should have a sign saying "Keda" on the windshield. You can find the minibus on the right side of the station.
The ticket price is 1.5 GEL.
There are no specific bus stops near the waterfall, so you should inform the driver to drop you off at the bridge or near the Makhuntseti Waterfall.
Once you arrive, you will need to cross the road and walk a couple of minutes. You won't get lost as there is a sign on the road, and you will see many other tourists heading towards the waterfall.
Be attentive! Some drivers, upon seeing that you are a tourist, may ask for 2 GEL. Even in that case, it is still cheaper than going by car or renting a vehicle.
You can also ask the drivers about other buses heading to the destination. Bus route number 77 passes along Chavchavadze Street. There is a chance to catch the bus there, but keep in mind that it might be crowded, and you might have to stand. The journey is not very close, as it takes about 40 minutes.
Car Rental
If your budget allows, it is a good idea to rent a car or drive to the waterfall in your own vehicle. This will not only allow you to see the waterfall but also visit other beautiful places. You won't be tied to bus schedules and can have the flexibility to explore at your own pace.
Remember! You should drive carefully as local drivers are not the most cautious and may not always follow traffic rules.
The roads, on the other hand, are in good condition, and you won't have to drive on mountain serpentine roads.

Car with a Driver
If the above options don't suit you, you can consider hiring a car with a Russian-speaking driver. This option allows you the freedom to visit other beautiful places and can be considered the most comfortable. The price is approximately 60 GEL.

You can also reach the waterfall by renting a bicycle, which will take about 3 hours.
Another way to visit the waterfall along with other attractions is to take a tour of mountainous Adjara at a cost of 159 EUR. This is a very interesting journey through incredibly beautiful places.
