  • There are no specific bus stops near the waterfall, so you should inform the driver to drop you off at the bridge or near the Makhuntseti Waterfall.

  • Once you arrive, you will need to cross the road and walk a couple of minutes. You won't get lost as there is a sign on the road, and you will see many other tourists heading towards the waterfall.

Be attentive! Some drivers, upon seeing that you are a tourist, may ask for 2 GEL. Even in that case, it is still cheaper than going by car or renting a vehicle.

You can also ask the drivers about other buses heading to the destination. Bus route number 77 passes along Chavchavadze Street. There is a chance to catch the bus there, but keep in mind that it might be crowded, and you might have to stand. The journey is not very close, as it takes about 40 minutes.
